    Kathleen,

Thank you for helping authors navigate through today's tough publishing world. Authors have to realize that they need to do their own marketing.

So true Lynn. The more they know, the better.

Kathleen- You are so right. Social media is changing the landscape of book marketing dramatically. Having a strong following on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites not only contributes to a strong author platform, but it helps to sell books. I recommend all my authors learn social media strategies asap. Thanks for posting this timely topic!

What's exciting is how much the Social Marketing and Social Media is making available for folks. The greatest challenge is for people not to try to "do it all" or go off in many directions.

With the right guidance and help, one can do incredibly well with the online social aspects of business.
